Artwork Guidelines
To help us produce your signage accurately and on schedule, please provide print-ready artwork wherever possible.
Preferred File Formats
Vector artwork is preferred for logos, lettering and large-format signage. Please supply files in PDF, AI or EPS format, with all fonts converted to outlines and linked images embedded.
High-resolution JPG, PNG or TIFF files may also be accepted, depending on the final print size and intended application.
Before Sending Your Artwork
Please ensure that:
-
All spelling, contact details and other information are correct.
-
Artwork is supplied at the correct size or clearly marked scale.
-
Fonts are converted to outlines.
-
Images are high resolution and suitable for the finished size.
-
Colours are supplied in CMYK or nominated using Pantone references where accurate colour matching is required.
-
Bleed and safe margins are included where applicable.
Artwork Checking
U Signs will perform a basic pre-production check before manufacturing. This check is intended to identify obvious technical issues and does not include copywriting, spelling correction, logo recreation or creative design.
The customer remains responsible for checking all wording, dimensions, colours and layout before approving the final proof.
Need Help with Your Artwork?
Limited artwork assistance is available in connection with signage and printing orders, subject to availability.
Design fees are quoted according to the complexity of the work, the quality of the supplied files and the time required. U Signs does not provide standalone branding, logo design or unlimited revisions.
Additional changes requested outside the agreed scope will be quoted separately.
Artwork Approval
Production will begin only after the final artwork proof has been approved in writing. Changes requested after approval may result in additional charges and changes to the production schedule.
